Ansley Bates recently moved to St. Augustine and splits her time as a Strength & Conditioning Coach at The Exchange Fitness and at Flagler College. Prior to moving to St. Augustine, Ansley served as a Strength & Conditioning Assistant Coach for Olympic Sports at Georgia Southern University from 2019-2020 and worked with women's basketball, women's tennis, cross country and diving. Before Georgia Southern, she worked as a Strength & Conditioning Graduate Assistant at Mississippi State University from 2018-2019. Ansley also trained women's tennis and assisted with women's basketball, softball, volleyball, women's golf, track & field and cross country. She served as an intern in the Strength & Conditioning Department at the University of Alabama in 2017-2018 where she assisted with cheer, softball and golf. While in Tuscaloosa, Ansley also worked as an Assistant Track & Field Coach at Holy Spirit Catholic High School in the spring of 2018. During her undergraduate years, she worked as an Assistant Coach at D1 Sports Training in Birmingham in 2016-2017. Ansley earned her bachelor’s degree in Health Science with a minor in Nutrition from Samford University in 2017 where she was a Heptathlete for the Track and Field team. Later, she earned her master’s degree in Food Science, Nutrition and Health Promotion from Mississippi State University in 2019. Ansley is certified with the Collegiate Strength and Conditioning Coach's Association (SCCC), the National Strength and Conditioning Association (CSCS), and USA Weightlifting (USAW Level 1 sports performance coach). At The Exchange, we call her Super Girl!
